The Supply Chain Council and SCOR®
As active members of the Supply Chain Council and its European Leadership team, SEVEN never tire of supporting Supply Chain Council events in Europe where we promote the adoption of the global Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR®) model, and champion its benefits and value, presenting at numerous Supply Chain conferences and events.
Supply Chain Council
Established in 1996, the Supply Chain Council (SCC) is a not for profit organisation dedicated to making dramatic, rapid and sustainable improvements in Supply Chain performance.
SCOR®
The SCC’s Supply Chain
Operations Reference (SCOR®) model is the world
standard for Supply Chain management and is constantly revised to ensure that
it stays current and ‘ahead of the field’ in championing best practices,
metrics, process and organisational design and thought leadership. The current version of the SCOR® model
(Version 10) includes topics such as sustainability (GreenSCOR®),
Risk management (RiskSCOR®) and People skills
and capabilities (PeopleSCOR®).
SCOR’s unique framework
links business process, metrics, and technology into a single structure that
supports communication among supply chain partners and improves the overall
effectiveness of Supply Chain management.
The SCC has also developed
two more framework models, Design Chain Operations Reference (DCOR) and
Customer Chain Operations Reference (CCOR).
