What are the 7 Keys?

The 7 Keys to Unlocking Organisational Greatness™ is a unique approach that is the culmination of around 15 years of research, experience and analysis from around the world. During our work with a large number of clients, both huge and multinational, and small and local, one thing remains constant – they are all trying to survive in an ever changing and more challenging commercial environment. The challenge was to find out why some companies struggled and fought against the change, whilst others did not.

The Curse of the 4 M’s

The 4 M’s signify the four major reasons we identified that cause organisations to develop an environment and culture whereby despite potentially investing hundreds of millions of pounds worth of investment in ‘change’ programmes, they never seemed to deliver significant long term Improvement. The 4 M’s are;

Money – too much (if the shareholders aren’t screaming, there’s not a problem)
Mindset – fixed mindset culture (good is good enough)
Management – Management rich (leadership poor)
Metrics – too many (wrong ones, no ownership, no integration)
